The Peticon & Appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Saviours

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Warrant under the hands of Seales of twoe Justices
of the Peace wth. in this City dated the 3d. of June 1699 (one being of the Quor)
a female Bastard child borne of the Body of Sarah Greenway< no role > widd in the parish
of St. Saviors as is therein alledged was sent to yor. Petrs. to be pvided for
Whereas the said Child is unknowne to yor. Petrs. P was not borne in their said
Parish of St. Saviours

Yor. Petrs. therefore Pray yor. Honors. and Worpps.
to hear them in the prmisses And that the Churchwardens
of St. Fosters may be ordered to appear before you And
that the said Warrant be Quashed And the said Female
Bastard be sent to the Churchwardens of St. Fosters To
be pvided for according to the Lawe
