told this Deponent that he was present with the sd.

when he the said Knott broke open the
Trunck of Elizabeth Allen< no role >
which Trunk had two
Locks thereon and that the said Knott did take out
of the said Trunk two peices of Gold a Silver x
Tobacco Box a Silver Chaine and a Silver Thimble
which the said Knott sold to a Goldsmith for Fifty
Shillings and this the said Howsome did declare
he would depose before any Justice of the
Peace and that he would appeare to Justify the
same on Oath assoon as he should hear the said
Knott was taken And this Deponent further deposeth
that she is informed paid hath cause to beleive the
same is true) that the said Knott was taken into
custody for the sd. Fact since this pretent Session
began and that there hath been diligent Search made
after the said Howsome and that he cannot be
found
