John Alfeild this Informt. doth Depose & Swear that on
friday ye 17th. Inst. he did give Soloman Tranter< no role > ye Prisoner here
present a Charge to took After 7. Sevtt. Pcells of goods wch. ye sd.
Tranter did load into a Carr he being a Porker & did give
the sd. Tranter Charge to follow the Carr till they were
unloaded & before he came to ye strand bridge he Missed a
Portmantua trunk in wch. was Silk gowne & 2 Petticoats
I humen Petticoates 2 hoods & one Searfe & other womens
Apparrell Vat. near 50th. and farther this Informt. doth
not Say

Wm. Coomes< no role > this Informt. maketh Oath that the
Porkmantua trunk Abovenamed was Stolen out of his
Carr as he was Carrying of it from St. Martins lane
to Besomes Inn & he Missed it abt. steal bridge in
ye strand & doth on his Oath verily beleive that
Soloman Tranter< no role > ye Prisoner here present did either
steal the sd. trunk of goods out of his Carr himselfe
or was privy to some other pson yt did steal the
Same the sd. Tranker being a Porter & hired to goe
After ye Carr to look to ye goods in it & farther he
doth not say.
