hath made a dilignet search for and did endeavor.
to find out one howsome who is (as this
Dept. was informed a materiall [..] witness
that can prove certain felony charged upon one
William Knott< no role > but this Dept. canot as yet find
him the this Depont. does not question the Doing
thereof in some reasonable time he this depont.
not having as yet sufficient time to find out the
said house me hee this Dept. being obliged to
give his attendance att Hicks. Hall this prsent
Sessons since the beginning whereof the said
Wm Knott< no role > has been taken up into Custody
for the said Fact.
