Ann Breton< no role > this Examine being duely Examined
before me Saith and Confesseth yeyesterday night abt.
this Morning between four & five of the Clock She galt in
at the Window of Mr. Golds house and Hole away out of
his Kitchen 2 P of Sheets and a great Pcell of other him
of wch. this Examint. Saith ye She doth not remember the
pticulars and Saith yt Mary Dipley< no role > Als Davis< no role > who is here
present did also goe into ye house by ye Kitchen Window
and Hole away thence a large box of Mastin Saimen
and then this Examint. Saith ye herselfe did go out at ye widow & the sd.
Dipley Als Davis did goe out at the street door
& this Examint. Farther Saith that She had never
robbed the sd. Mr. Gold if she had not been pswaded
to it by Mary Butterfeild< no role > who used to work there
who Saith ye sd. Butterfeild told her that as Mr. Golds house
in Fox Alley there was a great deal of goods & they might
make themselves for ever & further Saith ye the this Examint.
[..] to Mr. Golds house on Tuesday night & the sd. Butterfeild
hid her in ye Celler in order so robb the house in the
night time and between 12 & 1. the same night the
Examint. Saith yt She went out of ye Celler into ye Kitchen
& the Dogg barked & Frighted her so she made off
then & Hole nothing & the next day wch was wensday
this Examint. told ye sd. Butterfeild of what Hupued &
therefore yesterday in ye Evening Butterfeild brought
away the dogg and would have had ye Examint. to have
hid agen in ye Cellar but then twas agreed that the sd
goe in at ye Window where by turning the pinns round
the keys wou'd drop out wch. was agreed on by all
three & put in practice only Butterfeild failed of her
promise in going wch them but after ye business was
done Butterfeild was Apprainted wch. it & approved of
it and was to have as full a Share as if the had been
present at the Stealing of them
