to resell it to him at 4/8 P Oz. That upon
calculating the Difference between 4/4 and
4/8 P Oz. said Finlay was disatisfied and
gave said Mitchell 2d. P Oz. and this Informt.
four Guineas to be off their Bargain, and
then Casper was to pay Finlay after the
Rate of 4/8 P Oz. That said Mitchell said
that the said Plate was hid in his Garden
and Cooper said he would employ one Goodley
who Keeps a Chandlers Shop in Church Lane
to carry it from thence but to what Place he
cannot till That said Copper then gave
said Finlay a promisory Note for £100
in part payment for said Plate.

That in a Day or two afterwards said
Cooper gave this Informt. four large Ingots
of Silver and desired he would dispose of
them for him, and recommended it to him
to go to Cox Merle Refiners in Little Britain
and to Mr. Brown Refiner in Foster Lane
where he said he had sold some before
That he this Examint. carried two of said
Ingots to each of said Places and left them
to be assay'd. That said Cooper told this
Informt. thathe had soldone Ingot which he had left on
the Saturday in Love Lane was stop'd by
the Refiner. That this Informt. said Mitchell
& said Cooper went together to said Refiner and
got it back.
