never would get done if they proceeded in
that Manner and offer'd to lend them a Pair
of Streers. That said Finlay brought a Pair
of Scales and Weights to weigh the Plate
but this Examint. observed that the Weight
was mark'd on the Plates and they agreed
to take them at 17¼ or 17½ Ounces each Plate
and to pay 4/8 P Oz That they melted
all said Plates into Six Ingots, and said
Mitchell undertook to sell them the next
day. That the day following that said Mitchell
and this Examt: went together to receive the
Money, when it appeared that Moore & Son of
Silver Street Refiners bought one a Refiner
in Bridgewater Square whose Name this
Examt: does not recollect bought two and
Robert Cooper< no role > of Church Lane bought the
other thrice of Said Ingots.

That in about two in three Days after
said Transaction said Mitchell came again
to this Informant and asked if he would
join in purchasing some more of the Bishop's
Plate, to which he consented, That they went
to the House of said Cooper, and found said
Finlay there That this informant ask'd
said Finlay what quantity of Plate was
remaining and the Price he expected
That said Finlay said there were 33 Dishes
and that he expected that same price as
before - 4/8 P Oz. That this Informt. and said
Mitchell agreed with said Finlay at 4/4
P Oz. That soon after said Cooper came in and [..] they immedi-
-ately agreed with said Cooper [..]
