This 13th day of February 1789 Who being on their Oaths say
and first the said Elizabeth on her oath saith last night as hear
as she can say about half past nine as she was going from a
Butchers in Ratcliff highway the person present who saith his
name is Thomas Sherry< no role > with two other men she was assaulted
by said Three men who forced her down Farmer Street The said
Thomas Sherry< no role > seizing the Bundle she had in her hand which
was the handkerchief produced containing Two Linen Shirts Three
Linen Aprons One Pair of Ribbed Cotton Stockings marked [..] B
one Demark napkin and a Common napkin her said husband
property Says in her Struggle to save her things she was forced down
to the bottom of the Steps when he the said Thomas Sherry< no role > took said Bundle and run off
with it

that Mrs Bell had been robbed by three people last night between
the house of nine and Ten of a Bundle That he went with her
to the White last public house Shadwell where she signalized
Thomas Sherry< no role > from amongst several people who she said was one
of the people who had stopt and robbed her last night That
he took him in the Back room when the Prosecutrix said
the handkerchief about his neck was her property and in which
were the Articles she had been robbed of
