in the said County Linen Draper
taken
before me this 28th. day of Janry 1789
Who being upon Oath saith that two persons now present
who calls themselves Mary Flannagan< no role >
and Elizabeth Flannagan< no role >
came into this Informants Shop about half past Six o Clock
this Evening under pretence of purchasing Shawls and
looked at several-That during the time they remained
in the Shop several different Shawls were shewn to them
when this Informant observed said Mary Flannagan< no role >

take from [..] off the Counter the Shawl now produced
by this Informant and endeavour to conceal it under
her Apron or petticoat-That he immediately cause
up to her and Stopped her (as she was going out) charging
her with having Stolen the same-That he the then insisted
on her going up Stairs into his One [..] Stairs Room [..] in
order to search her which he did but found nothing
upon her-That soon afterwards John Richards< no role >
on this
Informants Shopman who was coming down stairs
at this time came to this Informant and told him
that he had found the said Shawl upon the Stairs leading
up into this Informants one pair of Stairs as aforesaid
And this Informant further saith that the three Shawls
also now produced by Moses Murrant< no role >
