Who upon their Several Oaths Say and frist the Sd.
George Wapshott< no role >
for himself Saith that the Prisoner
Catharine Thompson< no role >
came to live with him as a Servant
sometime in November & lived with him about a
Fortnight thar appearing to be intoxicated in Liquor
[..] thought it most prudent to part from her that since
the Prisoner left his Service his Neighbour

a Grocer
lost a CanisterofTea with Some in it & being informed by one
of his Sons that the Prisoner

Stole it he the sd. Stone went to Thomas Johnson< no role >
's a
Pawnbroker in Short Gardens to inquire after such
Canister & when he returned from the Pawnbroker he
came to sd. Wapshott & told him that he had Seen at the
Pawnbroker Some Articles which he apprehended
was his Property in Consequence of which he & sd.
Stone went to the Pawnbroker & inquired whether
he had got a Sett of Fire Jams wch. the Pawnbroker
had taken in & produced the same and which the
Sd. Wapshott Says are his Property

to take the Prisoner
