Whereas at the Delivery of the Kings Gaol of Newgate
holden for the County of Middlesex at Justice Hall in the
Old Bailey in the Suburbs of the City of London on
Wednesday the Fourteenth day of January in the Twenty
Ninth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the
third King of Great Britain Etc James Harper< no role > late of
the parish of Abberton in the County of Essex Labourer
was and stands indicted for Unlawfully assaulting
Roger Storer then being in the Aid and assistance of
John Rowe< no role > One of the Officers of Our Lord the King in
the Service of the Excise of our said Lord the King he the
said John Row< no role > then being in the execution of his office
and duty in serving Twenty Gallons of Foreign Brands
and Twenty Gallow of Foreign Gineva and for hendering
opposing and obsburcting the said Roger Storer< no role > in the
and assistance of the said John Rowe< no role > in the execution
of his said office and duty

These are therefore to authorize good
require you to enter or Cause to be entered a
Nolle prosequi upon the said Indictment and to
Cause all Proceedings on the said Indictment against
the said James Harper< no role > to be forth with discharged
and for so doing this shall he Your Warrant
