Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Charles
Cope< no role >
for himself saith that on Tuesday Night last between the
hours of twelve and one o' Clock as this Informant was going
along the Strand
he fell down fronting his Masters House in
the Strand
aforesaidThat immediately a person now
present who calls himself Aquila Cole< no role >
came up
to him and [..] picked his Pocket of the Silver Watch now
produced Makers Name Edward Hughes< no role >

That he immediately got up and pursued said Cole crying
out Watch until he came to Buckingham Street
where
he seized hold of the Slap of his Coat and caused him
to be secured and taken to Saint Martins
Watch House
And further says that he is very sure that he never lost
sight of the said Cole from the time of his stealing his
said Watch to the time of his being secured as aforesaid
