Thirdly John Godwin< no role > upon his Oath Saith about
a Quarter after Nine of the night of the 20th. Inst. he was going
along Stafford Street in his Way home and saw in Dover Street
[..] the prisoner Charles Woodger< no role > having hold of the Prosecutrix
on the Ground and heard him say Blast your Eyes you Bitch
let go me he then by violence got from her and ran away & at
that time he saw a Man in a Blue Coat take the bundle from
her and run away with it whom he pursued and had secured
in the Watchhouse as before mentioned

Fourthly John Piddington< no role > saith he this a Constable
and was sent for to St. Georges Watch house to take Charge of
and lock up the prisoner where he was informed he had
been enquiring of the Watchhouse keeper after a person who
had made his Escape and some suspicion ariving he was
detained in the said Watchhouse
