Who being upon Oath says and first the said Mary

Sevenight about 6 o'Clock as she her late Husband

were going in a one Horse Cart to the Hyde they
were stopped between the 4th & 5th. Mile Stone on the
Edgware by two Footpads one of whom [..] seized
the Horse by the Rein and the other came up
to the Cart and demanded their Money and took from
her said Husband a few shillingsThat said person
said to her said Husband that he had more Money
and that he would have it,andmade use of very
abusive Language and knocked him off the Shafts
of the Cart and beat him in every Violent manner
which blows were upon herand gave him several Wounds upon the Head and face of
which Wounds her said Husband is since dead
