The Information of Francis Grimmett< no role >
of No 4 George Court Cross Street Carnaby
Market Porter taken on Oath before me
this 27th. day of August 1789.

Who being on Oath says that on Tuesday last the
25th. instant between Twelve and One o Clock, as this Informant was
going along King Street Golden Square , a person now present
who calls himself Richard Coleman< no role > came up to him and told
him, that a person wanted a Porter, and Conducted him to a
Second man who Stood at Mr Lamberts door in Beak Street, which
Second man gave him [..] the Paper now produced Inscribed
"Go for a box. Directed for John Gannaway to be left at the
"new White horse Celler till Calld. for" desiring him at
the same time to go for [..] said box and bring it to him there, that
he accordingly went for said box to the new White horse Cellar
where he received said box and brought it to said Second
Man whom he met in Warwick Street, that said Second man
then asked him if he would carry it to Hungerford Market
which he agreed to do and accordingly Conveyed it there
where said Second man met him and gave him a Shilling to
Pay for a boat to carry said box to the Surry side of Black
fryars bridge where he told him he would meet him, That
Informant accordingly carried said box in a boat to the Surry
Side of Black fryars Bridge where he landed it, and after
waiting about ten Minutes or a Quarter of an hour the said
Richard Coleman< no role > came to him with another Porter, took
away said box and paid him Eithteen pence for his trouble
in bringing said box there And this informant further
