returning from the Queens head in Holles Sheet Cavendish Square to
Kentish Town in Company with the other Informant William
Whitten< no role > , in the place called water Lane leading from mother red Copy
to Kentish Town they were met by Two Men, that one of the
Men laid hold of the Collar of Informant Whittens Coat in a gentle
Manner and said "Execuse me", and Whitten replied "Excuse me for
what", upon which said Man drew a pistol from under his Coat
and presented ita Pistolto Whittons Breast, who turned the same
asideandstruck at said mans face and then fell down and his
Hat fell off, Cut doors not recollect said Man presenting the
pistol at Informant Whitton [..] while he was downThat
Informant Whitton then ran away and was pursued by the said
Man, who returned followed by Whitton towards this Informant
that said Man again presented the pistolagainat Whitton who
again ran away and was again pursued by said Man, who upon
his return look up the Informant Whittons Hat and with the
other Man ran across the fields towards Hampstead carrying away said HaAnd
this Informant also says that at the Time of presenting said
pistol by the said Man no demand whatever was made of any
Money or other property of either her this Informant or of the
Informant Whitton nor did any other words Except these of "Excuse
me" spoken by said Man passAnd that the other Man neither
spoke that a person now present who calles himself William Edwards< no role >
is the person who so collared Informant Whitton and presented
the said pistol
