The Voluntary Examination of John Wright< no role >
taken on Oath this 12th day of May 1789 before me
one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
said County of Middlesex

Who on his Oath saith that he lives in Daggers Court
Quakers Street and that about the Middle of of last Tuesday [..] night
he was Waked by a knocking at his door and he got up and
Opened the door when James Leroche< no role > John Merryman< no role > William
Pickering< no role > and another Person whose name he doth not
know came into his house with a quantity of Lead which
they left there and they Come again to this Examinant
houseandall Except he man he did not know and
Pickering and Merryman asked Examinant if he would by
a Bed and a Stone Merryman said he would not wish
to deceive him they was got [..] whiles &
they was Discourseing the Peace Officer came and
took them all into Custody.
