Sworn saith That as he was Passing along
Endfield Highway on Tuesday last about
Seven in the Evening he heard a great
Noise and saw a Number of People got
together and upon going up he found therein
was a Quanell between William Ward< no role >
and Edwin Swain< no role >
both of whom Deponent
knew they afterwards fought that Swain
after two Minutes gave out and came to the Bar
and stood there for near a Minute when ward
came up to him and gave him a Blow
which brought him to the Ground and the
deceased Swain never spoke afterwards and
peponens verily believes such Blow to
have been the cause of his Death
