The Several Informations [..] William

Who upon their Oaths severally say and first the said William
Appleby
< no role > for himself saith that on the 23d of last Month he was walking
up Holborn that he met one Sarah Jones< no role > who implored his Charity and
said she was a poor servant out of place that she asked him to go
home with her which he die and that when they same into her room
he sat down on one side of the fire and she on the other, that another
Girl was in the room when they came in but soon went out, that
Sarah Jones< no role > afterwards sat down on his knee put one hand round
his neck and the other in his Waistcoat pocket and laid hold of
what money was there that he seized her hand before she took it
out of his pocket when she dropped the money that he immediately
felt whether his watch was give or not and found it was that
he charged her with taking it which she denied and said he was not
walk a Watch and then rose up [..] gave her Bennet and Cloak
to a Girl at the Door, that he went to call the Watchman and
when he returned found the haddoorshut the door and desired admitting him
that when the Watchman came she opened the door when she was
taken into Custody and put in the Watch House

Edward Tredway< no role > for himself saith that he received an Information
that a Man was robbed of his Watch and that twas pawned at
Joseph Flemmings< no role > in Drury Lane that the Prosecute and him
went to the said Pawnbrokers where on seeing the Watch he
Swears to be his that they then went to the house of Sarah
Jones
< no role > in Cup Lane and took her and her husband John Jones< no role >
in Custody that when the Prosecutor saw her he said twas the Warning
who Robbed him

Richard Williamson< no role > for himself saith that he is Clerk to Joseph
Flemmings Pawnbroker< no role > in Drury Lane that on Thursday the 24th
of January last about 10 oClock in the Morning one Ann Magee
Pawned a Watch at the said Pawn brokers for 16s/that she said twas
her Property and that she lived in Dutchy Lane which watch the
prosecutor swears to be his
