Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said
Susannah Giles< no role >
for herself says that this Afternoon
about four o'Clock the Person now present who calls
himself Samuel Brown< no role >
came to her Mistresses
House and asked to see the Lodgings a Bill being
Huck up at the Window for that purpose That said
Brown asked the Price of said Lodgings when Informant
Replied they were a Guinea and half Per Week That
Informant Shewed him the first floor which was to
let when said Brown asked if there was any Rooms
for Servants to which this Informant replied in
the Affirmative That said Brown then asked if
this Informant had any person in the House to which
this Informant replied there was a Gentleman
in
the two pair of Stairs That said Brown then
ask'd to see her Mistress this Informant replied
she was not at home. That said Brown then
asked for pen and Ink to leave his address that her
Mistress might call upon him tomorrow That
leaving said Brown in the Parlour with Elizabeth

now present she went up Stairs to fetch
a Pen
