Jervais brought him four Shillings and told him
that was his Share as the Two pieces had sold for
Twenty three Shillings but the odd three Shillings
was present that on Saturday last about Two
o Clock in the Afternoon this Informt John Doust
and Jervais met together at the White Horse Old
Ford and stayed untill about Six o Clock when they
met Goldsmith and Robert Howard< no role > and then they all
setoff for London and went to the Gun and Holly
Bush in Back Lane where they seperated this Informt
Jervais and Doush in Order to go to Mitcham and
agreed if they met and person on the Road to stop and Rob
them Jervais having a large Knife which he had brought for
that purpose from his Brother House at old FordBoisbut
had not gone far before they met Jervaiss Father and
Mother when here turned back and this Informt &
Doust went on to Mitcham and got there about Eleven
o Clock at Night when this Informt proposed to doust
to Rob Mr Newton's Callicoe Grounds there and
accordingly they went and stole four pieces of British
Callicoe from thence which they carried and hidin
a field under some bushes and then they parted each
going to their friends but agreed to meet again on
the monday morning early and accordingly this
Informt called upon Doust about four o Clock and
they went together and took three pieces from the
said four so Concealed as aforesaid that Doush carried
one and this Informt. two having one piece wrapped
round his Body and the other in a Hand kerchief and came
to London and never quitted each others Company untill they
came to Old Ford, but the three pieces of Callicoe which they had
Stolen as aforesaid and which was the property of mr
newton at Mitcham in Surry they had Concealed in the
Alley's leading from Bethnal Green to Old Ford That
before this Informt. went to work he Informed Briggs
& Jervais [..] Gold smithwit what he and Doust had
been doing when Briggs asked if they should be in it
when this Informt told him Yes, Upon whichhe [..] Bridggs
and Doust set off for Tenley's in Bach Lane but not
finding him at Home they cme back again between
five and six o Clock when Immediately this Informt [..] and
Goldsmith and Jervais set off for the place where the three
pieces of Callicoe had been hid in the Morning by this Informt
