two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace
in and for the said County Against Abraham
Lee
< no role > Charged before us on Suspicion of having
Committed a Burglary.

David Jones< no role > of George Yard in the Parish of Saint Mary White
Chapel in the said County Victr . on his Oath
SaithThat there has been Stolen from
out of the Cellar of his House last Night three Gallions
of Brandy two Gallons of Turn three Gallons of Bitters
three Gallons of Rasberry [..] and four Casks and two
Rabbits that the Flap of his Cellar next the Yard was
forced open and the same entered by that means
That the two Rabbits and two Casks now produced
are his property and part of the property so Stolen
as aforesaid

his Oath saith that he is one of the Watchmen of the
said Parish
That between three and four o Clock this morning
at the end of Catherine Wheel alley next
Westworth Street he stopped the person now present
who Says his Name is Abraham Lee< no role > carrying the
two Casks now produced and Claimed by David
Jones
< no role > on asking him what he had got he said
Smuggled Good and begged he might pass
further saith that the two Rabbits now also
produced were found near the Person of the said abraham
Lee
< no role > by William Witherick another Watchman
in Wentworth Street aforesaid.

The above Depositions taken and both the
Informants Sworn before us the 30th day
of January 1788.}
