The Information of John Watson< no role > of Parsons Street in the Parish of Saint John of Wapping
in the said County Broker and Joshua Gray< no role > of Shorters Street in the Parish of Saint
George Middlesex in the said County Carpenter Taken on Oath before me John Staples< no role > Esquire one of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the said County this fifth day of December
in the year of our Lord 1788 And first the said John Watson< no role > for himself saith the Glass
produced is his property that he saw it Hanging at his door about Two o'clock Yesterday
afternoon and about five o'Clock found the same had been taken away and which said Glass
is of the Value of Twenty Shillings and the said Joshua Gray< no role > for himself saith as
he was going down Breeze's Hill about four o'Clock Yesterday afternoon [..] he saw the
Persons present who say their names are Joseph Collins< no role > and Edward Farrell< no role > with the
looking Glass produced which was Carried by Joseph Collins< no role > further saith he stoped the
said Joseph Collins< no role > with the Glass when the said Edward Farrell< no role > made his Escape

a man gave him the glass produced to carry for him to Wapping
who he doth not know

until Mr. Gray Slopt [..] the said Joseph Collins< no role > that he
was not in his Company any time Yesterday afternoon in
the Streets
