The Information of Samuel Cooke< no role > and
Benjamin Hott< no role > taken 3d. September 1788.

Who upon their several Oaths say & first the sd. Samuel
Cooke
< no role > saith that on SundayEvening aboutthe 31st. of August
about nine o'Clock in the Eveng. as he was passing along the Street near
the End of Parkers Lane the Prisoner Susannah Richards< no role >
accosted him & asked him if he wod. give her something to drink
upon wth. he answered he did not much care where. he did
or not she then said come to my Room he went along with
her & as soon as he came into the Room she said to him what
must we have to drink he answered what you have a mind
she then said we [..] have some Gin & ordered it accordingly
wch. he paid for & then he took his Watch out his Pocket
& laid it upon a Table and sat down upon the Bed by
the Side of the other Prisoner Charlotte Walker< no role > This name instance is in set 1436. the said
Susannah Richards< no role > was standing near the Table blew out
the Candle took hold of the Watch by the Chain & went out
of the Room when Charlotte Walker< no role > immediately laid hold of him round the Waist upon which he said to Benjamin Hott< no role > a
Man who was with him in Company she meaning the said
Susannah Richards< no role > is gone away with my Watch upon
which the said Benjamin Hott< no role > went to look for the said
Susannah Richards< no role > staid some Time but returned back &
said he cod. not find her he then called for a Light which a
Man by the Name of Lamb brought up he then went &
called the Watchman & where he came the Prosecutor and
