Who being upon Oath saith, that this day between the
hours of one and two o Clock as he was looking thro' the

his Master, he observed a

times walk backwards and forwards before the Shop of

now presentThat he observed said

take from off an Hook on the outside of the
Shop Window the two Boots now produced and endeavour to
conceal them under his Coat by doubling them up on which
this Informant followed him and laid hold ofherhis Arm
asking him at she same time what he was going to do with
the Boots on which he seemed surprizedThat he
charged him with having stolen said Boots when said
Lang replied that he this Informant was a Liar and that he had not
stolensthem on whichsaidthis Informant caused
him to secured and the said Boots was taken from him
