The Information of Benjamin Allen< no role > Sarah
White
< no role > bread taken on oath the 5th. day of July
1788 before me one of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex

This Informant Benjamin Allen< no role > on his Oath saith That
he is a Labouring man and lives in Green Street in the
Parish of Enfield in the County of Middlesex and that
on Tuesday the first day of July Instant he went to his
work early in the morning, leaving his son at home
about Twelve years of age and Saith that between
two and three o Clock his son came to him where he
was at work and staid with him till past Eight o Clock
and then they went home together and on the boys
Endeavouring to unlock the door which was a Padlock
the Staple had been drawn out and on his putting
the Key into the Lock the staple fell out then this
Informant perceived it had been forced out,
Informant and his son then went into the house
and looked about to see what was last and on
looking into the Cup board he found some bacon
and cheese to have been taken away and some bread
and on further Examining about he missed three
Silver tea spoons and one Gold ring and a Silver
four pence and a Silk Handkerchief And Saith
That three Silver Tea Spoons a Ring and a Silk
Handkerchief now produced by John Armstrong< no role >
a Peace Officer is his property and the same that
was stolen from out of his house as aforesaid

This Information Sarah White< no role > bread Saith That
on Tuesday the first day of July Instant about
four of five OClock in the afternoon she then being
at a neighbours house in the Parish of Enfield
Joseph Ives< no role > and Thomas Berry< no role > the Prisoners now
