before me this 19th. day of July 1788
Who being Oath says that about six Weeks
since the Person now present who calls himself
William Mason< no role >
came to this Informant Shop
and asked Informant of he bought Gold That
Informant replied Yes when said Mason produced
to this Informant twenty Nine or thirty pieces
of Gold which Informant bought and paid him
Twenty three pounds for the same and this
Informants further says that the nine pieces
of Gold now produced by this Informant are
part of the said Gold which Informant bought
of said Mason as aforesaid.
