The Information of John
Philips
< no role > taken before me one of
Majestys Justices of the peace in
and for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that he is a
Cheesemonger and lives in Nightingale Lane
Saint John Wapping in the said County that
on Friday the fourth of April last he had been
from home about four hours and when he came home
in the Evening about Ten o'Clock hisMasterMan informed him that a
Warehouse occupied by this Informt. in the
Dwelling House of Edward Spicer< no role > situate
nearly opposite this Informts. House had been
Burglariously Broke and Entered upon which
this Informts. went with his Man and
found that four firkins of Butter had
been feloniously taken and Carried away
the property of this Informt And this
Informt. further saith that a Quantity of
Firkin Staves< no role > now produced and found in
the Lodgings of a person now present who
calls himself Nicholas Murray< no role > is the
Staves belonging to the four firkins of
Butter whichtakenwere stolen at the
time of the said Burglary and felony
being Committed
