Further Informations of Witnesses
touching the Death of the aforesaid
Peter Murrell< no role > severally taken and ackowledged
at the Work House in Little Grays Inn
Lane aforesaid on Tuesday the twenty
sixth day of December aforesaid by Adjournment
Before Mr Richard Collett< no role > me of the Coroners
for the said County of Middlesex as follows (to wit)

Francis Messam< no role > of No 70 Red Lion Street
Holborn Labouer being Sworn and Examined
at the time and place last abovementioned
Maketh Oath and Saith that about five
o Clock in the Morning of Thursday last He
was passing along Bedford Street and on
going [..] over the [..] Grating, before the
Watchhouse, this Examinant heard a Person
groaning and crying out "O Dear help Me"
That this Examinant went to the Watch
House Door, but found it fastened, that
He knocked at the Door, but could not
make any persons hear, that this Examinant
at the same time heard a Persons snoring
withinThat at near 4 oClock in the
Afternoon of the same day, the Wife of
Rees Davis< no role > applied at a Publick House
in Bedford Street , known by the Sign
of the Three Cups, for same Person to go
on a Message, that this Examinant being
there was recommended for that purpose
that the sd Mrs. Davis then told this
Examinant to go to the Work House
in Grays Inn Lane , and tell her
Husband He was wanted Home directly
on particular Businessthat this Examinant
went accordingly, and met with the sd
