Robert Crawford< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Blaze
in King Street Westmr . Laborer on his Oath
Saith That this day between One and Two
o'Clock Dept. was informed that a Woman (Mrs.Carter)
was Drowned at Mr. Curries in King Street
upon which he went there and Mr. Hanbury's
Journeyman came there at the same time
Says that he felt the Deced at the bottom
of the Tub. That Mr. Hanbury's Journeyman
assisted Dept. to pull the Tub down (there
being no water in the Tub) and Dept.
pulled her out of the Tub, when she
appeared to have been some time Drowned,
her hands being Sodden.

Taylor on her Oath saith That Mr. Carter
and his Wife Elizabeth Carter< no role > the Deced
have Lodged with Dept. in the Kitchen about
severally [..] and that Mr. Carter behaved
very ill to the Deced, in Scolding her often Says
that on Wednesday last about four o'Clock
in the Afternoon Mr. Carter and the Deced
drank Tea together in Deced's Kitchen
That about Ten o'Clock that Night (July. 4th)
Dept. was coming into her House when she
saw the Deced at King in her shop when
Dept. wished her a good Night and Deced
bed Dept. a good Night, Says that she did
not see the Deced afterwards alive nor did
she see Mr. Carteruntiluntil about half after Eight
o'Clock last Night when he came home in Liquor
[..] and being very a sensive, Says that
Dept. went out again taking a Bundle with
him under his Coat and returned about Eleven, Says
that
