The Voluntary Examination and Confession of William Renwick< no role >

William Renwick< no role > Confesses and says he with George
Beach
< no role > and John Brown< no role > having met in Mile End
Road between the Hours of Nine and Ten last night
who asked him to go with them That they went to
the Barley Mow Ratcliff Highway and from thence
along the New Road St. Georges where they met
with the Gentleman present who says his Name is
John Gutteridge< no role > and a Little Boy who then Stopt and robbed-That his
Companions told him they had taken only half
pence from the Gentleman says he had only a knife
but his Companions had each of them a Cutlass
Further says The said George Beach< no role > and John Brown< no role >
soon after stopped a man and a Woman in the
said Road very near where John Gutteridge< no role >
was robbed The said Man and Woman calling
out Murder They all run away a little distance
then walked towards the Royal Oak White chapel
Road side near to where he and Beach was taken
