Cloth Weavers on his Oath say last night about Ten Minutes
before Eleven as he and his SonGeorge James< no role > aged Twelve
Years was going from Field Gate home along the New
Road he saw Street Man before at which Time the
Clock Struck Eleven that said Men Stopped until he
came up with them when one of them who is now
present and says his name is George Beach< no role > pulled
his hat over his Eyes whilst the other Two men robbed
him of Fifteen pence in half pence

The Examination of George Beach< no role >

George Beach< no role > says on Sunday last the 17th of June Instant
William Renwick< no role > came to him at No. 3 New Gravel Lane Shadwell about the
hour of Five in the afternoon and asked him to take a walk That they went to
the sign of the Green Dragon at Stepney and from thence to Bromley Lock and
walked all round the fields together until it was quite late Says they came to Mile
End Road where they were Stopped by Owen Copy and John Foster< no role > That Brown came
to them when they were in Mile End Road coming towards Whitechapel Says he
doth not know of any Robbery being committed way time that Evening when in Company
of the said William Renwick< no role >
