Reason to believe that the deceased; Life
warm any Danger from any Injuries He had
reced in the Scuffle or Dispute with the
Prisoners

Daniel Smith< no role > of Surry Street in the Strand
Surgeon Maketh Oath said Saith, That on Wednesday
last, the deced, was led to Mr. Bartholomew
Hospital That Dept. took Him into One of the
Wards and examined him, [..] and found the Jaw
in the right side fractured and the Bones much
displacedthat Hewalsewas also in a high Fever,
and deliriousthat He was by Dept. Directions
taken & come and put to Bed, and Dept went to Him
reduced his Jaw, bled Him, and agreed Him some
[..] Medicines That Depts an Him again
in the Evening found his Blood Majesty, and Steve
rather increasedThat Dept. saw Him again on
Thursday Morning whenhis Disordthe Fever and
Disorder in Generalintoappeared to be increased
and in the Evening his Fever was still higher, and
the deced highly delirious and very Violent,
and Deponent had out any Reason to expect his
swimming long, and he actually died that Night as
Deponent has been informed and beleives Uniform
this Deponent Observations He is of Opinion the
deced died of a violent Steve but how or by what
Means the Fever was occasioned, Deponent cannot
form in any Belief

acknowledged, the Day, Year and Place first above
mentioned Before
