19th. day of May 1787
Who being upon Oath saith that she
Knows William Cousins< no role >
and John Lawson< no role >
now in custody
for Footpad Robberies That on Monday the
severnth May Instant the said Cousins
and Lawson came to this Informant who
was then at No 2
in Rose Street
Covent
Garden
That the said Lawson then gave
this Informant duplicate of a Cloak
Pawned for eight Shillings and told her
that it was pawned at Mrs. Cooper's
Pawnbroker in Wild Street
and desired
this Informant to go to Mr. Cooper's and
redeem the said Cloak and to pawn it al
another place for half a Guinea And
this Informant further says that she went,
to the said Mr. Cooper's where she
redeemed the Cloak now produced and
took it to Mt. Lane's Pawnbroker in Drury
Lane
who would Cond her no more than
six Shillings on the said Cloak That
this Informant then took the said Cloak
back to said Mr. Cooper who Cont her
eight Shillings in the same which Sum
she gave to the said Lawson
