of the Parish of Chesham to
the C ounty of Bucks
; taken before me Sir Sampson Wright< no role > Knt .
one of his MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex , this 19th. Day of April
17 86 .

Who says that the Six Horses that were [..] in the [..] Stable of Mr.
Lewis at Little Chelsea , are his Property, four of which he bought
on Tuesday the 11th. Instant about 4 o' Clock in the morning in the road at Kensington
Gravel Pits , of One Johnson a Man whose Christian Name he doth
not know Viz: the Chesnut Mare, two black Galloways and a Brown
Gelding that he gave said Johnson twenty eight pounds for them
That the other two Bay Mares he bought at Aylesbury Fair last
Saturday was last night of one Williams a Farmer at Chipping Norton for
eighteen Guineas, that he bought them in the Open Fair and that
they were not Toll'd
