quitted said Room locked the Door and took the Key with him
that he returned to said Room about 10 o Clock at which time
he found that the Door had been broke openThe said John
Atkins< no role > says that he found the Iron Instruments now produced
in the Lodgings of said Samuel Clay< no role > who told this Informant
that they were used by him in his Businessthat this Informant
treed the said Instruments and on comparing them found them to fit that part of the Door so
broke open and that some Wood or other Stuff then lay on the
ends of said Instruments And the said Moses Murrant< no role > says that
between the hours of twelve and one o Clock on Saturday Morning
last he found the two Irons now produced under a Pair of Bellows
in a Forge in said Samuel Clays Apartmentsthat said Clay
delivered two other Irons to him to break open the Box that
had been robbed when said Samuel Clay< no role > made use of the Words
"I am down" meaning as this Informant then understood that
he was aware that [..] he was suspected of being guilty of said
Felony
