Who being on Oath says that she was Laundry maid
to Mr. Nesbitt
of Norwood
in Surry
upwards of two Years and half and was discharged
from her Service the beginning of October or August last. That she has been intimate
with John Warren< no role >
Coachman
to said Mrs. Nesbitt about half a Year.
That the last time she saw him (before he was in Custody) was Yesterday
was sevenight. That on a Monday about four or five Weeks ago,
she this Informant went to Mr. Wrights a Pawnbroker
in Vine
Street
Hatton Garden
to fetch some Cloaths to wash; that when this
Informant returned to her Lodging at No 2 aforesaid, she found in
her Room the two Bundles of Livery Cloaths in the Jack now produced
and her Bose containing her Books and Cloaths, which she had left
at Mrs. Nesbitts on leaving her Service; and which Livery Cloaths,
Jack and Box, she is very sure were brought to her said Lodging
by said John Warren< no role >
whilst she was gone to Vine Street
Hatton
Garden
as aforesaid. That in about a Week or a fortnight afterwards
the said John Warren< no role >
called on this Informant at No. 2 aforesaid, when
he mentioned his having left the Livery Cloaths, Jack & Box as
aforesaid whilst Informant was absent.
