and there taken on the view of the
Body of the said

and there lying dead as follows.

Surgeon
being sworn
and examined on the day and Year and at the place
above mentioned upon his Oath saith that on
Thursday the sixteenth day of November instant
about the Hour of nine in the Evening he was
sent for to the Deceased Duncan Robertson< no role >
and
found he had been desperately wounded on the
Seapula of the left shoulder which wound
appeared to be about the Length of five or
six Inches and as Deponent believes about
the Depth of one Inch but such Wound having
been served up Deponent did not think it necessary
to open therefore came to speak with certainty
as to the Depth he also found Wounds on
the left Wrist the forehead and face That
Deponent attended him from that time until
the Monday following during which various
