Taken the 19th. day of October 1786
Who upon her Oath Saith That about the hour
of 8 oClock in the Evening of Sunday Evening last She
Receive of the Stewards of a benefit Society which
her late Husband belonged to the Sum of Five pounds
in part of Ten pounds money due to her upon the
decease of her said Husband (who died on Saturday
Evening last) as being a Member of the said Society
That at the time She so received it one Jame

was with her who saw her put it in her
pocket which pocket She put under the pillow of
her Bed That the said Jane Williams< no role >
took an Apron
which was hanging on a Chair Back and under pretence of
putting it under the pillow She took out of the
said pocket Three Guineas and Two pence and
went away That in the Morning she went in Search
of her and found She had been in a State of
Intoxication all the Evening an had Changed some
part of the money
