The Information of Benjamin Wolf< no role > of Cockhill Shadwell
in the said County Tobacconist Taken this 27th. day of Sepr. 1786 Before
me John Staples< no role > Esqr . One of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County Who on his Oath says on the Twenty
of Oct. 1784 he went to the Prisoner house (who says his Name is Thomas
Brown
< no role > ) situate in London Street Ratcliff that he bought Two hundred
Dollars of the said Thomas Brown< no role > who told him they were the property
of his Father in LawSays that he the said Thomas Brown< no role > was indicted
for being concerned with others in Robbing the Ship Elbe lying in the River Thames
and that he the said Benjamin Wolf< no role > gave Evidence before the Grand Jury
at the New Session house Clerkenwell against the said Thomas Brown< no role > some
Months afterwards upon the said Indictment
