The Information of Timothy
Lovell
< no role > of Sudbury Green in
the County of Middlesex
Victualler taken before me Sir
Sampson Wright< no role > Knight one
of his Majestys Justices of the
peace in and for the County of
Middlesex this twentieth day of
October 1786

Who being on Oath saith that between the house
of six and eight o'Clock last Night the person now
present who calls himself John Turner< no role > came
to this Informant House at Sudbury Green and
asked this Informant if he could accommodate
him with a Lodging That this Informant answered
he could not but directed him to go to the Black
Three which is about half a Mill distance from
this Informant House That the person now
present who calls himself James & Rudd said to
the said John Turner< no role > I will go and shew you the
way to the Black House That said John Turner< no role >
called for a Pint of Gin Hot which he was said James
Rudd
< no role > drank That about eight o'Clock the said
Turner and Rudd left this Informant House
and went towards the aforesaid Black House
That immediately afterwards a Person now present who calls himself William Giggs< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.
followed the said John Turner< no role > and James Rudd< no role >
That about an Hour and half after the said James
Rudd
< no role > returned and said to this Informant
"Timothy Lovell< no role > " I have taken a Foot pad That this
Informant asked said Rudd where he was That
Rudd answered he was higher up in the Road

That said Rudd brought to this Informants House
and laid on a Table the Hat the Pocket Book
and Shoe now produced and said he had taken
them
