The Information Mary< no role > the Wife of Thomas Kidd< no role > late of Brook Street
St. Dunstans Stepney in the said County Mariner on her Oath says on the 4th:
day of June 1786, about the hour of Seven in the evening she and her said Husband left their
said house to go on board of Shiss at which time the Doors and Windows were all fast
That she went home for clean things on the Tuesday following about the hour of Twelve
at noon. says the out side Gardengate was hapsed that she attempted to put the Key into
the Lock of the said Door but could not and on her lifting up the latch, [..] the said Door
came open-she haps she found on the Kitchen floor-Says the first thing she missed was
a Looking Glass in a Mohogany trame-She Chairs were all in a heap round the
fire place-which so alarmed her that she run to her mothers near who she told
that their house had been broken open and [..] Stripped-That she and her Sciter ha [..] mah
Wlth went with her to Examine the house further when she found a Flounce
petty coot on the Stairs belonging to a Gown of hers in posession of Mr Dobson the
Pawnbroker-That the Drawers were about the Room and were empty. That the Bed Two Bols [..]
Two Pillows Three pair of Sheets. One Blanket One Blue Rug One White Cotton Counterpi [..]
Two Dozen and half of Linnen Clouts, Two Under Petty coats. One Marseill a
Pettycoat, One Silk Gown and Three [..] Printed Cotton gowns One Bed Gown Three
White Limen Aprons One Check Apron Two Limen Shifts. One pair Shift Sappers
One pair of Womans Leather Shoes with Silver Buckles four pair of Cotton and
Worsted Stockings one pair of Silk and Worsted stocking Four Check Shirts
Three Linner Shirts, One pair of Nankeen Breeches One pair of White Tustian Breeches
One [..] enela Waistcoat One Yallow Cloth Coat Two double Handkerchiefs two hats taken away the property of her said Husband which were
all safe in the said House at the Time she and her husband left their house
on the said 4th. day of June as aforesaid

pawn broker use he [..] nds property and taken out of his said house between the hour of Seven in the Evening
of Whit sunday and Tuesday noon foll [..]

John Fletcher< no role > of new Gravel Lane Shadwell Constable on his Oath Says on the first Sunday
after Whitsunday last he with John Orange< no role > and Thomas Cole< no role > went to a house in Perry win [..] le Stesh
Ratcliff on an Information that William Sherburd< no role > lodged at a house in a Lower apartment [..]
That they went into a back Room in the said house where One Brock a Waterman lived The
foreroom was locked-That they searched the Apartment of the said Brock did not find
any thing there which Mary Kidd< no role > Owned-Says that the said Brock told him a Young
man a Shoemaker lodged in the foreroom and had not been at home all night
That he then broke open the door of the said Room and searched it and found a piece of
a Gown which the said Mary Kidd< no role > said was a piece cut off her Gown that she was
robbed off-That he brought the same away but the said Mary Kidd< no role > demanding
the same he gave it to somebody to give That he likewise found in the said Room a pair of
Muslin Gloves which Mrs. Kidd claimed as hers saying she knowed them having
made them herself but when before the Magistrate had not know them-Says the
same day in the Evening he went to [..] a houseofin Spice Island where he found
the person present who says her name is Elizabeth< no role > and the wife of Thomas Ransom< no role >
[..] who he took into Custody. and when Mrs. Kidd saw her she claimed as her
property a Muslin handkerchief the said Mrs. Ransom had on that he took the same
off her Neck and kept it some time until it was demanded on him whether she
delivered the same to Mr. or Mrs. Kidd death not at present neco Clest, says the Handkerchief produced is like
that which tee took off the neck of the said Elizabeth Rancom Says on Saturday
last about the hour of Eight in the Morning he John Orange< no role > Thomas Cole< no role >
and George Torresler< no role > apprehended Thomas Ransom< no role > and William Sherburd< no role >
in a Little house of Two Rooms in the [..] me Garding in which he found the Cintre bit produced in
Sherburds Yestment-That in Rensoms apartment near they did not find any
thing to crininaty them
