The Information of John Mayhew< no role > taken on
Oath the 30th day of September 1786 before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex

Who on his oath Saith That he lives in the Parish
of Hornsey (Middlesex )That in the night of the Eight
day of September Instant or early the next morning his Dwelling house at Hornsey
aforesaid Was Feloniously and Burglariously broke open
and was stolen and carried away therefrom a large
quantity of Silver Table spoons some of them marked
with M and others marked with a Mermaid and
a Quantity of other plate, a silver Punch ladle marked
Z, M, W with the Handle broke off And that Eleven
silver Table spoons and a large Quantity of Plate now
produced by James Shakeshaft< no role > Peace Officer is the
property of this Informant and was Stolen an carried
away from his House at Hornsey as before mentioned
