the other Informant And that he has
various times declared himself to be
very poor; but Since the above robbery
has been committed he had redeemed
goods watch Etc which he had
before pawned to the amount
of upwards of twenty pounds
that upon being asked how he
came by so much money he first
said that he had it from his
Cousin And afterwards said
that it was money he had earned
atby working at the before mentioned
Mangle And this Informant
Elizabeth May< no role > for herself
Saith that she keeps a Mangle
in the house where the other
Informant lives And has employed
the prisoner for about Six months
past at the rate of three half
pence an hour which has never
amounted to more than nine &
often no more than five Shillings
a week, that during the whole
time he has been in her service
he has always appeared very
poor and destitute both of
Cloaths & money till after the
