The [..] Information of William Starr< no role > taken
on Oath the 10th. day of October 1786 before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex

Who on his Oath Saith That on the first day of October
Instant about Eight OClock at night he was going from
Dalston in the Parish of Hackney in Captain Strovers Coach
his wife and Constantine Touling< no role > and his wife then being in the
Coach with him they were stopped between Dalston and
Kingsland Turnpike by two men on Horseback one of
whom demanded this Informants money which was
immediately delivered him One Guinea in Gold) on which
the man said Dam'n your Eyes give me your Napper
for I see it) This Examinant then supposing that he
meant his Watch he delivered the same to him, he
afterwards demanded of Mr. Touling who was then
in the Coach with him his Napper, supposing it to
this Informant to be his Watch, which was also
delivered to him, His wife who was in the Coach
at the time was robbed by the said man of Five
Guineas in Gold And some silver as she hath informed
this Informant And that a Watch now produced by
John Armstrong< no role > a Peace Officer and three Gold Seals produced by James Shakeshaft< no role > is his property and
the same that was taken from him in the Coach
before mentioned and that he verily believes that John
Tirrelll
< no role > now under Examination is the same man
that Robbed him in the Coach in manner before mentiond
and believes that Joseph Lightfoot< no role > the other Prisoner now
under Examination was the person in his Company and
was then dressed in dark Coloured Cloaths.
