Saith The Account given by his Companion John
Morris
< no role > is tuneAnd Saith that when the first Woman
Said she saw ye foot of the Child She ran back and
told the Man with her who was a Soldier what it
was.he pulled the Box from under the Sods of
Earth with which it was covered in the Ditchand Deponent Saith
he desired the Man and Woman to go with them to
the parish Officers which they did.And
Afterwards all four were taken before Edward Webster< no role > Esqr.
one of the Justices of the peace for this County and afterwds. discharged And
Saith that inst at the time the Second Man and Woman
came up Deponent and Morris went to a Gentleman
who was in the foot path in the Road and brought him
to the placeand at that time the Second Woman
appeared confused tho' she did not before.shortly
Afterwards another Gentleman who had the Appearance
of an Apothecary came by and upon being called to by
Deponent and the first Gentleman the other came up
And upon his observing the deceased had lain there
five or Six Weeks the Second Woman seemed more
confused than over.
