in and for the said County
Who being upon Oath saith that he is Clerk
to
Messrs. Archer and Chamack of three King Court
Lombard Street
Merchants
that on Monday
last the Twenty first of August inst a Bill
drawn by Messrs C. & J Adams for the Sum of
One hundred and thirty Seven pounds was
Accepted at their Counting house in three
King Court aforesaid that he put the said
Bill into his Pocket Book and went to
Blackheath
by the Stage that after he
had returned from thence he the next morning
felt in his Pocket and missed the said
Pocket Book which contained the said Bill
together with other papers of no consequence
that hehathis sure the said Book and its
contents must have been feloniously taken
and carried away from his person and that
the Bill of Exchange now produced and found
in Possession of two persons now present who
