Silk purse before mentioned and took out
of it a Bill and Receipt for £250 as
the price of a Ring which was also found in the purse which Bill and
Receipt he desired this Informant
would read, at sametime observing that
he himself could not read; Soon after,
this informant went away and left
the said Robert Patch< no role > behind, and
this Informant went into another
house near Saint Giles and had
another pint of Beer, when the Said
Robert Patch< no role > came in, in company
with the person now present who
calls himself William Peters< no role > and
another person whose name is unknown
to this Informant, when Peters and
the other man observed to this Informant
that the said Robert Patch< no role > as he was
present with the said Robert Patch< no role >
when he found the property before
mentioned, he this Informant had
a right to £100 of it, when Patch
replied that his Banker was not at home
but that his Clerk was, and that he
could have the money the next day by
11 o'Clockwhenthat the other person
whose name is unknown wrote
