Who being upon Oath say, and first the said John Hathaway< no role >
says
that on the 26th. day of July last between seven and eight o'Clock in the
Evening as he coming from Uxbridge
in a single Horse Chaise to
London he was stopped by a single Highwaymen between [..]
Southall
and Hanwell
who presented a Pistol and robbed him of
about One pound four Shillings in Money and [..] the said William
Wheatley< no role >
for himself says that he was at this time present with
the said John Hathaway< no role >
that when said Highway man first
came up to the Chaise (in which they rode) this Informant jumped
out of said Chaise and being on the opposite side of the said Chaise
from the said Highway man Informant threatened to pelt him with
stones, if he did not take away his Pistol, which he presented as
aforesaidThat after a good deal of other Conversation between said
High way man and Informant (during which time Informant had a
full view of said Highway mans face (this Informant three a Guinea
at him, which fell to the ground and this Informant further saith
that he doth verily believed that a person now present who
calls himself John Shepherd< no role >
is the Highway man who
committed the said Robbery
