whom he knew and Stopd him and attempted to
Secure him but he ran away This Informant
followed him and he was taken into Custody in
a Smiths Shop in Compton Street

for himself Saith
That he took the prisoner in Charge this Morning about
7. o Clock and upon Searching him found One pair
of Corderey Breeches under his Trowsers and one pair of
Corderoy Breeches in each of his Coat pickets and
upon asking the prisoner where he got Them he said
he bought them in Rag fair for 4s/6d. a pair and the
Coat now produced he had on which the prosecutor
